Coiled aneurysm
10 rating(s) (4.6 ø)

Coiling of an aneurysm of the middle cerebral artery (MCA) on the right; about 5 1/2 years after embolization, frontal X-ray.

One can clearly see the significant deformation of the coil, which lead to the perforation of the aneurysmal wall.

The aneurysm was surgically removed because of growth and reperfusion and the patient developing epilepsy.
