Calciphylaxis in patient with terminal renal failure
10 rating(s) (4 ø)

Calciphylaxis is a rare disease with a high morbidity and mortality rate. The clinical symptoms appear in various differnet ways, therefore it is hard to diagnose in time. It is characterised by painful, ischemic and partly necrotic ulzeration of the skin as a result of calcification of the media of cutanous arterioles and the surrounding fat tissue.
