Pfeiffer syndrome is a rare genetic disorder with dominant inheritance that leads to craniofacial malformations.

Malformations of hands and feet:

  • shortening of the medial phalanges of the hand
  • wide distal phalanges of hands and feet dislocated at an outward angle
  • partly index and middle finger and the second to forth toe are fused
  • triangular forms of the bases of thumb and big toe
